RCN Hosts Internal Preparatory OSPE Workshop
Rehman College of Nursing (RCN) held a two-day Internal Preparatory OSPE Workshop for Semester 3 students enrolled in Adult Health Nursing 1 (AHNI) and Health Assessment (HA).
The workshop was a pivotal part of the college’s commitment to providing a holistic and comprehensive education to its nursing students, preparing them for the Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE).
The workshop featured a variety of hands-on activities led by experienced faculty members. These activities were designed to simulate the OSPE environment and assess students’ clinical skills and knowledge. Students also received valuable feedback on their performance, which will help them improve their skills, confidence, and their future careers as nurses.
The OSPE is a new pattern of practical examination that is becoming increasingly popular in nursing education. It is a standardized examination that assesses students’ clinical skills and knowledge in a realistic setting. The OSPE is divided into a series of stations, where students have a limited amount of time to complete a specific task.
The Internal Preparatory OSPE Workshop gave students the opportunity to practice their clinical skills in a simulated OSPE environment and receive feedback from experienced faculty members. This feedback will help students identify their areas of strength and weakness, and make necessary adjustments to improve their performance before the actual OSPE.
